Student Projects

Student Group Working

Students from our final year Business Studies and Business Enterprise degree courses are available to carry out projects. There are two types of projects available to clients.

Consultancy projects

A group of usually six Business Studies students carry out a consultancy project following the same principles as a normal commercial project. Consultancy projects involve agreeing a detailed project brief and work plan with the client, carrying out whatever research and data analysis is required to complete the work plan and making recommendations for future action.

Consultancy projects are approximately 15 weeks long, starting in November and concluding in February with the part-time degree students starting in February and concluding in April each year.

Partnership projects

Partnerships involve usually five Business Enterprise students working with SMEs to identify, analyse and solve problems. As with consultancy projects, a detailed brief and project plan are agreed with the client but the partnership programme is largely about implementing agreed solutions.

Partnership projects are approximately 12 weeks long, starting in October and concluding in January each year.

Costs

There are no charges for student projects. However, we do ask for all students' out-of-pocket expenses to be reimbursed by the client.

If you would like more information or are interested in participating in a student project, please contact Jannine Andrew on:
