News updates

January 2016: Dr Karl Russell and David Roberts have been awarded a Cheshire Capability Research Grant to research the use and impacts of this software on the student experience and the teaching of strategic management at MMU.

January 2016: Dr Karl Russell will attend International Partner Days at Kortrijk and Bruges (Belgium) between 26–28 April 2016, where international academics join in an international week with the this year’s theme being ‘Gamification and Playful Learning’.

The strategy and leadership cluster brings together colleagues interested in the practice, research and teaching of strategy and leadership.

What do we do?

The aims of the cluster are:

  • To develop internationally excellent research into strategy and leadership.
  • To become the regional centre for knowledge exchange that supports the development, transition and resilience of business and society through the impact of this research.
  • To engage and collaborate with management practitioners to explore best current practice with regard to strategy and leadership.
  • To bring together research and management practice to inform the teaching of strategy and leadership.
  • Through its teaching and development activities to develop socially and environmentally responsible professionals for successful careers in management and the professions.

Who are we?

Members of the cluster are drawn from a wide range of disciplines within the Business School.
