Our New Teaching and Research Headquarters
Welcome to our new £75 million building, which we believe is one of the finest and most environmentally sustainable academic buildings in the UK today.
Close to Oxford Road and the city centre we offer a wealth of facilities for students, staff, researchers, business partners and corporate clients such as:
- Wi-fi access, laptop counters and fully-equipped IT labs.
- Lecture theatres that can seat between 70 and 250 people.
- Teaching rooms that are configured to accommodate different teaching styles and the preferred learning styles of different groups.
- A postgraduate suite on the seventh floor, including the MBA common room.
As well as being a stunning addition to Manchester’s contemporary cityscape, the building has strong environmental credentials. It was designed by award winning sustainable architectural practice Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios and has been constructed to the highest standards of energy efficiency and sustainable development currently achievable.
