BIOLOGY students at MMU are among the most satisfied in the country, according to the National Student Survey.
The survey carried out by Ipsos asks thousands of undergraduates across the UK about teaching quality, resources, customer service and more.
And Biology passed with flying colours – most notably with 100% of undergraduates quizzed describing their course at MMU as ‘intellectually stimulating’.
94% stated that their lecturers were good at explaining the subject and 91% deemed teaching to be good on such courses as biology, biomedical science, microbiology and pharmacology.
More than nine out of 10 praised the assessment and marking, communication on the course and access to specialist equipment.
Overall 91% said they had chosen the right course for them!
Chrisoula Solomonidi, from Salford, a student on the BSc Biomedical Science, said: "This course offers a lot of lab work too, and in our third year we are offered placement with the NHS which will mean we graduate as biomedical scientists."
