More PCs for the Library and the Business School

Published: 10th March 2015

In the Business School IT Zone we've added 12 new PCs, bringing the total to 126, while in the Sir Kenneth Green Library we've provided a further 44, bringing that total to 122. For Mac users, there are also 10 Macs in each location.

We're always working to improve our services for everyone at MMU, which is why we've increased the number of PCs in two of our busiest areas.

In the Business School IT Zone we've added 12 new PCs, bringing the total to 126, while in the Sir Kenneth Green Library we've provided a further 44, bringing that total to 122. For Mac users, there are also 10 Macs in each location.

Paul Haldron, Service Delivery Manager for All Saints Central, said: "These are highly used areas, so we wanted to get the maximum benefit from the space with some extra PCs."

Rod Humphreys, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Business and Law, said: "I am very pleased that IT Services have responded to the demand placed on our PC availability by providing additional workstations and that we are effectively using multiple media platforms to keep our students up-to-date with information regarding availability in the IT Zones across the campus. This will enhance our students’ experience by ensuring they can quickly and easily see where to go to access the IT resource available at MMU."

You can find out where to find a PC to use at any time by checking the live maps on our website - or by downloading the MyMMU app for your smartphone.
